WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN INVESTMENT PARTNERS

Our Media Bay investor model reflects the golden era of Silicon Valley. Investors like Mike Markkula, who made money as engineer and as a marketing manager for Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel, was brought out of retirement by Silicon Valley marketing guru Regis McKenna to invest in Apple computer.

Mike Markkula wrote the first check to the young Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak at Apple Computer for $250,000. He didn't put all of this money into Apple, just an amount that he was willing to risk to enter a new market.

Today, Mike Markkula is a billionaire.

Like the early days at Apple Computer, we see investors such as Mike Markkula as a model for our strategic partners. We seek investors with connections that will help us access markets outside of California and around the world. We see our investors as important resources in helping our projects enter new markets.

Our experience has taught us that building a team of like minded business people, entrepreneurs, innovators and friends throughout the world creates a powerful network personally and professionally. We are constantly seeking out a diverse, international investor group that benefits from the relationships as well as the investments we collectively make.
